Overview
The timetable and processes to identify, cost and prioritise IS Applications projects is broadly
similar to last year. The process is made up of a number of stages:
a) Initial consultation and production of a list of emerging projects for each programme
b) Review of existing programmes of work
c) Feedback and production of final list of projects to be fully described and costed
d) Preparation of fully described and costed project proposals
e) Production of draft prioritised list of projects
f) Feedback and review of draft prioritised list by the IT Governance Group
g) Final list of prioritised
projects for 2011/12
Current Position
The Final List of Projects for 2011/12 has been published following approval by the IT Governance Group. This Final List will be used together with an appropriate allocation of the unplanned carry over days to set the individual Programme budgets for 2011/12. Budgets will be confirmed towards the end of the current financial year, by which time we would hope that the ECA funding position will also be clearer.
