Energy Systems Consolidation

Proposal Sponsor:
Geoff Turnbull

Overview

Currently energy consumption with regards to electricity, gas, water, heating and cooling is collated and subsequently reported through a variety of stand-alone externally developed systems such as called MeterRing, Dynamat and Optima
In addition the same information is uilised by the Meterology metering system which further manipulates the data to enable bespoke Energy Consumption web pages to be created for some of the larger energy consuming buildings throughout the estate.  These pages are displayed in real time on Plasma displays in the entrance areas of each building and inform users of their current and historic energy consumption and associated costs.

This project will deliver a single system solution that will capture the required energy consumption throughout the University estate and provide the required energy related information
