Decommision InfoEd and Infinite ( carry-over into 16-17)

Proposal Sponsor:
Hamish Macandrew

Overview

With the full roll-out of Worktribe Research Management, the existing legacy applications can be retrired and decommissioned.

These legacy applications contain sensitive data which should be decommissioned.

As 7 years history has been migrated from InfoEd and eFin to Worktribe , it is not expected that any further access to the legacy applications will be required after 31-July 2016.

In addition, as InfoEd and Infinite are the last applications on legacy hardware, then if the use of these applications is extended beyond 31-July 2016,  IS ITI division advise that the UoE could incurr additional costs of c£100k, to ensure infoEd and Infinite stay on a supported platform ( various components would require to be upgraded)
