The progress of the Delivered Catering procurement project has stalled during the completion of the question sets whilst awaiting confirmation of the interface requirements to the new Core Finance system.

Initial discussions held regarding annual planning proposals for 2020-21, noting the potential projects for 2020-21

Achievements This Period

  • Completed review of Digital Marketplace framework (G-Cloud) and determined no possible options available 
  • Commenced Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA)
  • Re-planned project on the basis 
    • Core Finance requirements would be available by the end of December 
    • Procurement process  could re-commence in mid January 2020

Issues

  • No further progress has been made regarding clarification of Core Finance requirements.  As a result, the completion of the functional question sets will now be delayed
  • Due to Industrial action it has not been possible to complete the review of the technical procurement question sets 

Next Steps

  • Prepare ITQ with regards to 
    • creation of functional question set and associated process flows
    • clarify requirements for Core System interface (if possible)
    • creation of technical question set
