Achievements in Last Period

  • None so far

Issues

  • Originally the order of development work was agreed between Project Services, Service Management and Development Services as 1. EVES 2. VRS 3. Events Booking Booking. However developers and Production have asked if EVES and Events Booking can be first and second respectively and VRS third. Thus is because a developer new to all systems will be working on them and it would be prudent to get the 2 easier ones under his belt before he tackles VRS. Tech Management manager has also advised that the VRS upgrade will be difficult and time should be taken over it. She also suggested that we ensure we thoroughly test it so there are no difficulties further down the line. Resolved as 2 developers now on COM023 and COM024.and original order will stand. This will allow second developer who will be on VRS to gain experience from first developer before he goes on extended leave.

Next steps

  • Revised plan for COM023 and COM024.
  • Project Brief signed off

Achievements

  • Work has started on EVES.

Issues

  • However the time to get the server set up in time for testing in TEST before Christmas is at risk as DevTech are reliant on UNIX to complete the work and this has not yet been completed. PM will revise plan. In the meantime DevTech are working on the TADs for COM023 and COM024.
PM is waiting on decision by Programme Manager and Sponsor if we can have the order 1. EVES 2. Events Booking  with VRS under COM023 being configured last. Resolved as 2 developers now on COM023 and COM024.and original order will stand. This will allow second developer who will be on VRS to gain experience from first developer before he goes on extended leave.

Next steps

  • Revised plan for COM023 and COM024.
  • Project Brief signed off
