Highlights This Period
- Time Recording commenced for Brief reviews done for DTI038 (Amend Personalised Email for Existing Students) and 039 (Define Integrated Identities Requirements);;
- Brief reviews done for DTI038 (Amend Personalised Email for Existing Students) and 039 (Define Integrated Identities Requirements);
- Production of communications strategy;
- Implementation of HL communications plan. First wave of communications done but with limited response to requests. Email survey by S Smith gave a positive output for DTI038 assumptions.
- Presentation to the IDM User Group on the programme intentions and coverage.
- Programme meeting minutes on website and budgetary data shared by email;
Priorities Next Period (Feb/March 2018)
Detailed planning and end of planning review for the two projects in progress;
DTI038:
- Review survey responses;
- Agreement of deployment approach;
- Commence development of self-service tools for DTI038;
- Proof of API;
DTI039:
- Creation of info tools such as FAQ web utility;
- Review of possible UX team utilisation;
- Commence requirements acquisition;
Key Programme Risks and Issues:
DTI039 underway and the resources have been secured.
DTI038 has initial funding but the key SME is not available ‘til end of April for design and development work.

Report by Don MacIver for March 2018 •Analyse an identify potential solutions for communicating and allowing the student to nominate the personalised student email address as their primary one •identify the benefits and risks, costs and timeline, consequences, impacts and communication plan for doing this •Obtain agreement from EUSA for the preferred option •Communicate and implement the agreed option/solution using the technology and API developed in COM033 Achievements in Last Period•Brief documentation discussed in KO meeting, brief agreed subject to final planning and comments being progressed; •All participants engaged in planning •Sizing discussions at a high level •Communications plan and strategy drafted and in review Issues•Key SME resource for development of the Self-service component and other development components off on vacation to end of Apr. Need a replacement resource or delay work. Next Steps•Agree deployment method. •Agree development and communication of self-service component; •Firm up planning assumptions, stakeholders and estimations •Submit planning to review and to WIS |
