Programme Commentary
Key Achievements in Last Period
- Project Manager appointed for vital Qlik consolidation work.
- 17/18 budget: updated budget for programme agreed, proposal for additional spend submitted.
- Review of programme in progress with key stakeholders.
Top (Three) issues
- Ensure that the Qlikview Consolidation reaches a satisfactory conclusion. We must ensure that the project is compliant from both an IS and procurement perspective. We have identified the need for a procurement strategy, outline business case and procurement checklist, with a clear split across software products.
- Establish a clear scope for “DTI031 - Developing the BI Community” and decide how best to proceed.
- Define a clear scope for the rest of the programme, in-line with priorities and budget.
Key Next Steps
- Continue to conduct Programme review and ensure all elements are within governance and compliant.
- Complete negotiation of Qlik licences and reach award.
- Commence planning for Qlik implementation
- Agree scope and nature of community and reporting projects.
Overall, given the uncertainties, the programme is rated at AMBER.
