Achievements

• Engagement with suppliers has begun

Issues

• The current deadline for activities to be completed by the end of the financial year may not be met due to delays in the associated procurement project
• A PICCL is being raised to move the planning milestone. The rest of the milestones shall be re-baselined to reflect this.

DTI006 - EDW Implementation

Achievements

• Infrastructure Build Complete Milestone achieved – We now have a ‘Production Ready’ Enterprise Data Warehouse;
• Deployment Checklist completed;
• Go CAB approved deployment to LIVE environment for Production;
• Parameritisation completed and pushed out to environments

Issues 

• Security Patch applied to DEV which locked the container to all users.  DEV had to be rolled back which caused a delay to EST109 development.  Security patch has been applied to TEST and LIVE and will be applied to DEV once EST109 demonstrations have been completed;
• Some items within DTI006 have been descoped and will be carried across to DTI021 (EDW Embed and Optimise) for completion

Next Steps 

• EDW Implementation to completed before EDW is deployed on the 16^th July;
• TAD to be signed off by CISO;
• DSOR to be completed;
• Parameritisation documentation to be completed.

The project showing as GREEN with focus continued on deployment and close of the project.

DTI019 - BI/MI Analysis Toolkit

Achievements

• Reviewed toolkit v1.2 with programme manager and project sponsor and sponsor is now helping with language in the toolkit to make it BI/MI centric.

Issues

• Project sponsor on leave so unable to complete in timescales – revised timescales now available and approved by WIS
• WIS approved revised milestones on 25 June but asked for Iain Fiddes and Mark Ritchie to review and approve the milestones

Next Steps

• Finalise toolkit to version 2 and sign off
• Agree how to deliver into overarching BI/MI projects toolkit
• Close project

DTI021 - EDW Embed & Optimise

Achievements in Last Period

• Project initiated via WIS on 22nd June with an anticipated planning date of 13th July.

Issues

• Delay in project start date,  due to delays in completion of predecessor project DTI006 EDW Implementation. Kick-off efforts commenced in the second half of June.

Next Steps

• Complete Planning phase of the project

The project is reporting GREEN,as the project has now been initiated and is in the planning phase.
