EDW Embed & Optimise project in progress. Handed over to replacement project manager.
Talend Implementation project in progress. Handed over to replacement project manager.
EDW programme mgmt secured through to expected end of programme.
Talend Dev and Test environment build completed.
Talend Training started.

Potential for resource contention on key Dev Tech resource: situation being monitored.
Establishment of an interim support model across core EDW and the early adopter solutions.

Key Next Steps

Monitor progress on inflight projects, assist and support newly appointed project managers.

Achievements

Project handover to be completed to new PM - Richard Bailey, who has 0.5 day a week availability going forward.
PIA completed and shared with the Universities DPA Champion for review prior to sign off, meeting booked for 06-Feb-2019.
Agreement with CISO to progress with EDW TDE Implementation obtained via the Development Team.
Wiki DEV environment recreated to remove the EDW TDE.

Issues

Project Manager moved to another area of the University which meant a handover had to be completed in order for the new Project Manager to be able to pick up and progress the project, Project Manager allocation / availability, though handed over is not as high as it was previously (dropped to .5 day a week).
Programme Manager now works 2 days per week (offsite) which may impact upon the DTI021 project.

Next Steps

Progression of the EDW TDE within the EDW DEV environment.
Operational Handover to be completed with the Production (Apps Man) team.

The project is reporting AMBER. Project is on budget / time frame for now; however, due to the lack of contingency - it will remain at amber

DTI003 Withdrawn

DTI004 ETL Procurement has now been closed.

DTI006 EDW Implementation has now been closed.

DTI019 BI/MI Analysis toolkit has now been closed.

COM029 Proof of concept project has now been closed.

DTI022 Business Engagement has now been closed.
