Achievements this period

• UAT in progress with channel owners
• IDM Connector testing still to be completed
• On-going resolution of  JIRAs
• Meta Tags development completed and being tested
• Pre Live activity under way

Issues

• The project UAT has still to be completed and signed off - this has been due to delays in meta tags development work being completed by LTW resource ready for testing, availability of business resource to complete IDM connector testing
• There are a number of Channel owners who have not completed testing - this is with Service Owner and Project Sponsor to progress sign off
• There is the potential risk of testing not being completed and readiness for deployment to live due to key LTW resource not available due to attendance at overseas conference
• Should there be any development work required the key project developer is on leave for 2 weeks and only returns on week the project is due to deploy to live
• Project has also been impacted by availability of key IS Apps and LTW resource who are also aligned to DTI project activities this has been raised with Project Sponsor and Programme Owner
• Project budget has been further impacted by delays, Project Sponsor has confirmed funding available from DTI re-estimation in progress

Next Steps

• Resolution of outstanding JIRAs
• UAT completed and Acceptance Sign off
• Pre Live deployment activity completed
• Deployment to Live

The project status is currently AMBER due to User Acceptance testing not completed and signed off , key project resource not available and project budget requires to be revised

Issues

• Technical Lead (Mairi Fraser) allocation is not confirmed
• Co-Location Space is not being fully utilised
• Change in Planning Milestone
• Change to UX Resourcing
• Senior Supplier Meetings are not being held

Next Steps​

• Ensure feedback from Martin and Marissa's visits to University of Wisconsin and Open Apereo Conference are fed into project
• Progress with Research deliverables for next milestone
• Interns deliver first presentation
• Confirm new UX Resource

The project status is amber due to issue regarding impact of UX Resourcing which is being recruited.

• Project Manager Assigned
• Project website and ASTA TR code created
• Initial kick off meeting with Project Sponsor, new Service Manager, Service Owner and Programme Manager to start mapping out project brief
• Initial engagement with L&UC and USD
• Initial kick off meeting with IS Apps to understand previous projects WEB007 and WEB010
• Request issued to Apps Resource manager for development resource to review outstanding JIRAs from previous projects
• Draft project brief in progress
• Meeting held with MVM to understand their requirements for Learn Announcements
• Initial engagement with Procurement for New SMS Subscribers work package

Issues

• Project dependencies need to be understood - diagram produced to aid discussions
• Risk around Development team resource as key developer is aligned to DTI Enterprise APIs project
• Potential for resource days allocated in 16/17 not to be spent

Next steps

• Engagement with Corporate and Timetabling colleagues
• Planning work packages, estimation and resource allocations
• Complete project brief and sign off
• Commence work package 1 to rollout service
