Achievements in Last Period
- Victoria Kulczycki (Director of Procurement) appointed as project sponsor
- Established requirement to configure the cXML set-up needed to punch-out orders to suppliers, and approach P&M colleagues to progress this configuration work
Issues
Scope
- The project has not yet received confirmation from P&M colleagues that they have the knowledge and expertise to complete the cXML / punch-out configuration work in Oracle. The project sponsor is following this up to seek this confirmation. On this basis, the Scope RAG has been marked as RED this month.
Budget
- The current project budget is insufficient to complete the project, so additional funding is to be requested. This has been discussed with the project sponsor and the project manager will be sending a cost estimate for completing the project, pending the feedback the sponsor receives about the cXML / punch-out configuration. On this basis, the Cost RAG has been marked as AMBER this month.
Time
- The project delivery date of 31st October 2022 wasn't met. A re-planning exercise will be undertaken after receiving feedback on the cXML / punch-out configuration and the resource availability in IS Applications Management for the payments testing. On this basis, the Time RAG has been marked as RED this month.
Next Steps
- Establish plan and estimated effort for the cXML / punch-out configuration work in Oracle
- Plan user acceptance testing including payments testing
- Schedule work on support documentation
- Discuss and agree revised project delivery dates for internal (punch-out) and external customer (portals) delivery, and revised project closure date
