Commentary

HRS071 - Project closed in last reporting period

HRS073 - Project closed in last reporting period

HRS075 - Pre-requisite patching completed in TEST, this included bug fixes for RTI related issues. Testing to be sign off 17th January. 

HRS076 - New Project, initiated to review the Business Case and Efficiencies obtained from the introduction of eRecruitment.

AP34-025 - Project Board to review and agree plan but current proposal is that this project will run from April 2014 to January 2015. Current revised effort is 60 days 13/14 and 60 days 14/15, however this will be reviewed and confirmed for 20th Januray for the mid year review.

AP34-023 - Reporting Project to start in next few weeks

AP34-024 - Database Migration Project to start in next few weeks, with eRecruitment to be moved first and Oracle following completion of the Annual Maintenance Project (HRS075).

Business Consultations are running through to end July. This project cannot start until clear agreement has been reached on how to proceed.

The eRecruitment Project Board has requested that the eRecruitment team review the high level plan for Phase 2 and the functionality of the next few releases of eRecruitment to confirm a plan for the January Project Board.

HESA have indicated that as the changes for 12/13 were substantial that changes for 13/14 will be minimal. This will not be certain until HESA release details of any required changes.

Moving HR Databases (R12 /eRecruitment) to New Infrastructure

Plan

Head of Production Management (IS Apps) has indicated that this Oracle HR & Payroll migration should be completed before the Family pack patching for HR & Payroll Annual Maintenance 13/14. However, it has been agreed that the risk to the Tax Year End patching is to great and the migration will now start in March with the LIVE environment to be migrated early summer. 

 

Dependencies

eRecruitment migration will need to be coordinated with Core should they need to undertake any updates to the application configuration.

  • Investigated the work required for the Phase 1 Design/Planning (Pre-Requisite Patches)
  • Both TEST and DEV Clones were taken from HRLIVE on the 26-Nov-13 
  • Clone issue resolved in DEV on 5-Dec-13
    • Clone of DEV complete 6-Dec-13
  • Clone of LIVE complete 12-Dec-13
  • Phase 1 Dev Patching Complete and Signed off
  • Phase 1 Test Patching  in Test has been done and is ready for Customer Acceptance Testing in January

It was agreed with HR that both the Staff Development Procurement and Implementation projects should be withdrawn. A revised proposal will be submitted during annual planning 13/14 which may cover a revised scope.
