Commentary

HRS075 - AMBER - Oracle intend to release a further patch to resolve the issues with the Direct Earnings/HR Global patches. P60 work is completing through testing and is on target for delivery to LIVE by end May. 

HRS076 - GREEN - final report with HR for review, delay to eRecruitment Project Board means that the full review by the PB has been delayed. This should not delay project closure. 

HRS077 - GREEN - Analysis completed and further information requested from HR, Payroll and Pensions to support design decisions. 

HRS078 - AMBER - discussions continuing with Core to agree migration path, project under replanning. 

HRS079 - GREEN - Additional funding confirmed by CSG to ensure that the remaining Autoenenrolment and EPS activities can be completed. 

HRS080 - GREEN - Build continuing and Peer testing planned for May. 

AP34-025 - Project Board decision to delay this work until after the eRecruitment Database migration and ongoing support activities are completed.

Achievements this period
  • P2 Dev Clone was completed successfully 10-Apr
  • Manual Business Workaround completed for April Payroll (The Direct Earnings patch was able to be handled manually as Payroll received confirmation on 9-Apr that it only affected to 1 employee for April)
  • Final Payment Submission Reports (4) by Payroll  - Completed successfully for HMRS deadline of 11-Apr
  • P60 complete in Dev 2-May-14

Issues

  • Although New Direct Earnings patch and HR Global again did not complete succcessfully in DEV this month, Oracle have notified that some information will be released on 20th May. This will result in a manual business workaround again for May Payroll

 Next steps

  • To withdraw Phase 3 Milestones
  • P60 to TEST
  • Manual Business Workaround to be completed for May Payroll (The Direct Earnings patch can be handled manually, so far, as at 2-May, it only applys to 10 employees, but this could increase before May Payroll)
  • P60 to LIVE
  • New Direct Earnings patch + HR Global apply to DEV after 20-May-14
    • If it finishes successfully in DEV, then can proceed moving the work on through to TEST and to LIVE
    • Agree dates for Direct Earnings patch to proceed to TEST and LIVE
  • Once the Direct Earnings patch and HR Global have completed successfully and made it to LIVE the project will then move on towards Closure - although at best this is likely to indicate in June before this can take place
