Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update

Commentary

All projects progressed to time, scope and budget in April. A new project, HRS086 eRecruitment Proof of Concept, was started which collates the effort spent to date on eRecruitment in 14/15 and the effort still required to complete the Proof of Concept.

Resources

The Programme code is over budget by approximately 7 days, which will be offset against the remaining contingency in the core funded balance row.

HRS085 currently has a programme budget of 30 days but requires 50 days. The programme has been advised the 20 core-funded days will be made available but as the cross-portfolio decision for where the days will be transferred from is pending, the programme blanace shows in deficit.

  • Brief has been completed
  • Design document has been created and is in the progress of being approved
  • Work related to the 2013-14 Archive had to be planned first before the main HESA return work could begin this year.
  • Replanned the Build and Acceptance Milestones to allow other Human Resources and Payroll & Pensions Projects to progress alonside the HESA Return

Next Steps

  • Design milestone to be approved
  • Archive data for 2013-14 to be completed including addition of the 3 new fields required
  • Once Archive data complete it will be carried forward through TEST and LIVE as soon as it can be, so that HR can complete the work required before the 2014-15 return moves to TEST.
  • The majority of the Build work will be completed in May
