Commentary

HRS084 - AMBER - Although there has been no significant change to the time, cost or scope of HRS084 over the last month, the PM has set the RAG status to AMBER as there are two unresolved issues (12 and 14) whose resolution may result in a future change to the project schedule that would cause the project to become AMBER. HRS085 - GREEN - On track to deliver to budget and schedule HRS087 - GREEN - On track to deliver to budget and schedule HRS088 - GREEN - On track to deliver to budget and schedule. This project started in September and will deliver the Governance and Planning for the HR Transformation Major Initiative HRS089 - GREEN - On track to deliver to budget and schedule. This project started in September and will deliver the eRecruitment Upgrade to v21.

Resources

On track to deliver to budget and schedule. However, the programme is using almost all its contingency to deliver HRS088 and is therefore at risk if funding for the HRS Transformation Major Initiative is not delivered.

  • The outcome of the Sept meeting with all user represensatives has been the review and the sign off of the paid leave (maternity and sickness) processes to be and the related requirements.

Achievements in Last Period

  • The Test commit was completed and the warning messages either cleared or considered if action was required in September
  • A data load was required to be run for 1,000 staff. This was needed due to new fields from eRecruitment in 14-15 requiring correction.
  • Following that HR had to correct 50 records before runnning the corrected data for the HESA Return - 2-Oct-15

Next Steps

  • HESA will review the University HESA Return
  • Between 15-Oct and 12-Nov HR will handle any Queries from HESA
  • IS Apps will support if required

 Achievements in Last Period

  • HR consulted wider stakeholders for feedback on the calculator. The feedback received was very positive and three JIRAs have been raised for minor changes before LIVE deployment. These minor changes have been resourced to complete w/c Oct 5
  • Confirmation was obtained that the Calculator will inherit the banner image from the HR Site in EdWeb and therefore an image specifically for the Calculator is not required.

  • None to delivery of the project but as no funding has been confirmed for the HR Transformation programme, the programme risk remains due to the use of the Programme contingency to fund this project

Issues

  • Planning sign-off rescheduled due to resource conflict for PM's time. This has not impacted the overall delivery timescales for the project

  • Complete Supplier readiness stage
  • Complete Brief, including review and update of plan and 3pt estimate
  • Secure all project resources
  • Establish refreshed User Group
  • Schedule project's Board and User Group meetings
