No issues to report continued progress

MVM522 [MVM Business Process Review for SharePoint Delivery]

Concerns continue to exist over the resource availability on this project.  Continued desire to deliver this in an appropriate manner is being hamstrung by resource issues. 

MVM523 [Pilot project for WHO's OFF online Staff Leave Management]

Due to Annual Leave a report was not forthcoming from the primary user of the system. A short report on usability was produced for College Registrar at request of Business Owner and Manager. 

MVM525 [Procurement of a Vendor Neutral Archiving (VNA) System for the Vet School]

Project should be in closure stage and report to be written up on lessons learned.

Continued progress on this provides clarity on its continued progress and positive steps.

Achievements in Last Period

  • Provet Cloud launched successfully in HFSA at start of December 2018 as per latest plan agreed with Project Board.
  • FNS staff onsite weekend of 01 Dec and w/c 03 Dec to support R(D)SVS staff and deal with minor emerging issues.
  • Halt on development work over holidays; Gap-analysis planned for January.
  • VM requested for locally replicated Provet database instance.

Issues

  • No major issues.

Next Steps

  • Review Provet launch and emerging issues after live running in HFSA for over a month.
  • Locally replicated Provet database instance; agree rules for Automated User Feed.
  • Review project plan, timeline, estimates for next Project Board 24/01/19.
  • Agree outstanding criteria for implementation project closure and what to be carried to a separate service improvement project.

Achievements
  • IGMM site created and initial phase 1 wiki content identified with some migrated as a pilot - they have obtained a resource 1 day a week until April 2019
  • Academic Admin site created
Issues
  • Continued SharePoint developer access - December 11 meeting held with Service Management
  • All project milestones are under review and will be determined in January at a re-planning meeting - date to be finalised
Next Steps
  • Clarify access to SharePoint resource
  • All other activity may well be impacted by this issue
  • Extend academic admin site pilot for Head of academic administration, Philippa Burrell

Achievements This Period
  • Project Closure 
    • As part of the process to close the project, it has subsequently been agreed that a lessons learned, issue/risk identification process be carried out as part of closure

Issues
  • The first attempt at arranging the project closure was unsuccessful - due to the reluctance of the project sponsor.

  • Site continues to be developed, extending the input from additional members of the team

Issues

  • SharePoint resource has been escalated, budget available, resource accessibility to be confirmed
  • Access to lead user was limited this month, but additional team members assisted expanding the site elsewhere
Next steps
  • Review phase 1 status in January and plan to complete
  • Review Phase 2 and 3 alongside clarification of access to SharePoint resource
