Achievements this period

• We seem to finally be making progress with the communication between the contractor and NHS Lanarkshire IT.  
• Paul Clark had an initial teleconference meeting with NHS Lanarkshire IT on Friday 26th May and the outcome was to try and schedule the work between NHS Lanarkshire and the contractor during the week beginning Monday 12th June.

• A pre-site scope of work teleconference call has been arranged for Tuesday 6th June between NHS Lanarkshire and the contractor.

Achievements this period

• Kennedy Tower Computer Lab (8 PCs) - Installed and IP addresses changed to tidy up subnet
• Easter Bush HfSA F33 (8 PCs) - Installed
• Easter Bush Vet School Study Landscape (26 PCs) - to be installed during June
• The 5 Easter Bush Kiosk PCs being funded by the College IT Learning and Teaching budget have been ordered and we are waiting for a delivery date.

Achievements this period

Vet School

• Schedule for the rooms has had to be adjusted due to the delays in getting the estates/cabling work carried out and estates stating that scaffolding is now required for the two lecture theatres.  The updated schedule is:
• Rooms G.03 and G.03A - Thursday 1st June to Thursday 8th June (up to 12noon)
• Rooms G.02 and G.02A - Tuesday 20th June to Wednesday 21st June
• Room G.01 - Thursday 22nd June to Friday 23rd June
• Lecture Theatres 1 and 2 - Monday 26th June to Friday 30th June

Chancellor's Building

Microlabs 1 and 2 

• New fold-down desks have been installed in the rooms, including 2 height adjustable desks (1 for each room).  Exam partition screens should be delivered and set up on the 15th June.  The tender for upgraded presentation equipment has been sent out to suppliers and the closing date has been set for Friday 9th June.

Undergraduate Medical Teaching Room, Board Room and SU209

• Nothing new to report.

Lecture Theatre A

• A three and a half week slot has been booked out for both the engie and AV contractor work to take place - Wednesday 28th June to Friday 21st July.  Unfortunately there are no contingency days, as whole year teaching starts again on Monday 24th July. 

Issues

• Learning Spaces Technology have taken a certain amount of money from the budget for MVM teaching spaces to cover increased costs of some of their central projects.  This decision will be discussed in June, as it currently means we don't have any money spare to upgrade further teaching spaces within the College.

Procurement of an online application to support assessment and feedback for MBChB

• The new SaaS contract was delivered to FRY-IT on May 18
• As of May 31, no response has been received - PM has requested an update

Issues

• No new risks emerged

Next Steps

• Anticipate Procure and Legal reviewing the response from FRY-IT and then engaging with the supplier to complete the contract negotiations
• Create the closure report

Technology to support short-notice communications to students

• Commenced documenting the process
• Identified an issue that the setup procedure was missing and the Grouper group update had not run correctly - RFC raised, work due to be implemented in week commencing June 5

Data Migration and Data Creation into FRY-IT Practique for MBChB

• LTW development have created an extract tool that is being used by MBChB in OSCA
• MBChB staff continue to progress identification of all data content required from OSCA and OSCA+

• Pat Fleury is scheduled to meet with Mayank Dutia on Wednesday 7th June to discuss the possible solution he has built.  Pat will be looking at whether the solution could be supported centrally and if so, what additional work would be required in order to make this happen.
