Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update

Commentary:

The MVM Learning and Teaching Programme has 2 projects on-going and its overall status is AMBER.

  1. MVM032 Speedwell Service Implementation: This project is AMBER due to the reduction in scope. Speedwell will only be deployed to the Veterinary School. The Medical School has decided to proceed with a formal procurement for their online assessment application.
  2. MVM105 Strategy for the upgrade of our teaching spaces (annual): A "Transform" project with an estimate of 50 days to completeThis project is GREEN.

  • Procurement of College-wide licence has been removed from scope 
  • Milestones re-planned in view of scope change and business availability
Issues
  • Business not available for final testing and deployment until mid-November
  • The project will be assigned the RAG status AMBER due to change of scope and re-planned milestones
Next Steps
  • Complete final testing
  • Take DB back up form Pilot and restore to TEST and LIVE
  • Complete and sign off OLA
  • Complete completion report and close project

  • Gather input from staff on upgrade plan
  • Draw priority list for upgrade
  • Input into Estates committee report for RDEC funding
Issues:
  • None
Next Steps:
  • External contract to help LST team to manage the project, design the new teaching space and carry out procurement.
  • Meeting to discuss upgrades at Little France scheduled for 4 October 2016.
  • Other campus meeting to be scheduled.
  • Review priority list of upgrades after all consultations
