Achievements in Last Period

• Supplier demos received
• Further discussions with Procurement Office regarding G Cloud contract requirements
• Agreed with project sponsor to arrange further demo for CSG Directors to confirm intention to purchase product

Issues

• The project timeline has been re-planned following a request from the Project Sponsor to set up a further demo for CSG Directors to view the learning and development software which an internal evaluation panel viewed on 6th July.  Due to the co-ordination requred for diaries, this further demo is now likely to be completed by the end of August.  This will be followed by completing the contract and the closing the project.  The Project Sponsor (via the IS Apps CSG Portfolio Owner) has agreed a 13 day increase to the estimate - from 35 days to 48 days - to cover the additional activity and enable the project to be completed.  This budget increase was aligned to a change in scope for the project so it would not only deliver recommendations to CSG, but also deliver a completed contract with the chosen supplier to provide the learning and development software (but not an implementation).

Next Steps

• Arrange product demo for CSG Directors to take place by end of August
• Go/no go decision by CSG

The project is reported on RED status as there has been an increased timeline and budget during the reporting period.
