Report by Dawn Nicholls for April 2013

Achievements this period

  • User Story prioritisation took place with H&S.  Stories were selected to form a 'minimum usable product' which will form Release 1
  • Release planning has taken place.  Development will take place over 5 iterations, which 3 iterations being dedicated to Release 1.
  • Release 1 will be ready for releasing to the end-user community by 17th May.
  • The first 2 development iterations are complete with several User Stories already handed to H&S for acceptance.

Issues

  • The demands from other projects on the lead developer have been affecting the project velocity and reducing the dual-developer benefits.  This has been highlighted to WIS and steps are being taken to reduce these demands.

Next steps

  • Release 1 to be made available to end-users for evaluation/trial run
  • Obtain feedback from the user community for consideration in the remaining development iterations.
