Achievements this period

• 2 x 2-week development iterations were completed in June and good progress has been made with the product backlog, though the reporting requirements are proving to be more complicated than anticipated. Details of the delivered functionality can be seen on the Iteration 1.0E and Iteration 1.0F pages.
• A demo & hands-on trial of the radioactivity-related RETAIN features took place at JCMB for the Radioactivity User Group. Overall the response to the system was very positive  and some further User Stories were identified.
• Preparations are well underway for the go-live of Release 1, which is planned for 9th July.
• The RETAIN on-line help Wiki has been created & is being populated by H&S with user instructions and help.
• Support arrangements have been discussed with H&S and an SLA is being drawn up by Apps Management.
• The basic BOXI universe has been set-up for ad-hoc reporting.

Issues

• Additional time is needed to allow for live user feedback, so the project timeline has had to be extended into August.

Next steps

• Go-live Tuesday 9th July
• Population of the live master data
• Users to start trialling the system alongside their current processes
• Maintenance iteration (part 1)
