HSS040 ECA MiniPortfolio Procurement and Implementation

Achievements this period

• Project Board has agreed that the fall back to ColdFusion is no longer required and to proceed with the SMA solution, see Decision 23.
• Configuration documentation for portfolio submission portal completed
• User acceptance testing planned
• Change control for revised budget, timeline and milestones drafted
• Support arrangements developed including early life and key milestone support
• Project team asked to document lessons learned for project closure report
• Project closure report started

Issues

• Due to the time and effort  to develop and test the integration and configure Survey Monkey Apply, a revised timeline and estimate have been prepared and project milestones re-planned, see Issue 19.

• Ongoing issue with the University preferred no reply custom email address which is not displayed as expected. A technical solution has been identified and will be tested next week.

• As the current project manager left at the end of September this project has been handed over to the programme manager, see Change 24.

Next Steps

• Conduct user acceptance testing and manage priority defects
• EQIA approval
• Solution move to LIVE

HSS041 Coordinating ISG Services for EFI Launch

Achievements this period

• Completion of snagging and commissioing of AV equipment ready for teaching
• Completion of work on door access
• Printers installed in phase 1
• ECA resilient link completed (flip-over to be tested)
• Clarity provided from BBK on majority of missing test results

Issue

• Missing ~50 test results from BBK. BBK advised that Cat6a cables that were over 90m have not been installed. ITI have instucted AtkinsRealis (was F&G) that this work is to be completed.
• Milestones to be formally changed
• Estates have not completed key suiting for phase 1 due to delay with BBK. This has support implications as ITI CIS do not have normal 24x7 access.
• Establishing status of all WAPs still being worked on
• Problem with AVoIP has required change from multicasting to Unicast - to be worked on by LST and Network teams

Next Steps

• Assess and complete any work once missing test results received
• Test flip-over to ECA resilient link
• Complete establishing status of all WAPs in phase 1
• Obtain keys and clarity of support access for phase 1 part of building
• Complete agreement of support arrangements for phase 1
• Planning for phase 2 to begin

• Currently working out how many days will be in this project and how many in new project and will complete budget change as required.

• Continue developments with a view to turning off php site
• Align Jira with new development priorities
