Report for November 2017

Report Date
November 2017
Report by Muriel Mewissen for Fraser Muir (Portfolio Owner)

Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update

During November, agreement has been reached for HSS019 Power BI for CAHSS to move to the DTI-BI Tools programme. Fraser Muir will no longer be the sponsor for this but will become the business lead.

The burnt rate has been brought under control and was 77% this month.

The overall status of the CAHSS programme is AMBER due a small delay in delivery in HSS018 Hope Park Counselling Centre Database Upgrade Requirements due to business and project staff availability.

Please note that the project RAG status is following the revised guidelines: A one-page summary of the IS RAG status indicators is available on this page.

Issues

  • DWP approval is needed before any data is shared with UoE

AMBER

Report by Ben Armstrong for November 2017

Achievements this period

  • Facilitated second requirements workshop
  • Confirmed and documented business requirements
  • System demos with potential suppliers
  • Drafted solution options document

Issues

  • The delivery date had passed as further supplier demos had to be arranged to provide sufficient information for the solution options document.  Those demos have now been arranged, and a revised delivery date of 13th December with closure at 20th December agreed with the sponsor.  There is no impact to budget.  Due to the short time delay, the Time RAG has been shown as AMBER this month but noted there is no hard deadline for delivery.

Next Steps

  • Present solution options document to sponsor and CIO, CAHSS
  • Project closure activities, including closure report
