Report by Ben Armstrong for November 2019

Achievements this period

  • Provided overview and training to evaluators on AWARD system
  • Answered claifications arising from suppliers
  • Confirmed evaluator names and responsibilities, with AWARD system accesses set up

Issues

  • Project Manager set to go on parental leave; cover has been arranged and a handover completed with Sue Woodger
  • There is a challenging deadline for evaluation, with a risk that the deadline isn't achievable if many bids are received; a decision will be made at the point bids are received (2nd Dec)
  • Evaluator of accessibility section is available for one day for evaluation; and she no longer has a deputy she could delegate to; see abvove issue regarding deadlines

Next Steps

  • Evaluation of bids - ESPD, mandatory requirements and question sets
  • Consensus meetings to be held in mid December, with confirmation to be provided to suppliers who have passed the mandatory requirements and will be taken through to the second stage of evaluation (scenario demos) in January
