Section One: Programme Commentary, RAG and Resources Update  

The ITS081 Change and Release project has closed, with C&R work completing under the Upgrade Project or as service support work.

The SMI002 UniDesk Upgrade has upgraded TOPdesk in all four universities.

The CMDB project has had an initial workshop with our partners and TOPdesk, which has helped  to determine scope and timelines.

The programme is within budget.

Achievements in Last Period

 

  • Abertay Deployment 4 Jun
  • St Andrews Deployment 10 Jun
  • John Baird confirmed that he has only had a few calls about the system and some observations but nothing major. Matt Beilbly informed that there were far fewer calls that when the last point upgrade had been made so that was very encouraging.

 

Issues

  • St Andrews deployment: Due to St Andrews being self-certificating there were issues with trust certificates during upgrade. All has been fixed at this end . St Andrews have to update their password but that is for them to do. Requires no input from UoE. Service Management have added note to institutional variation document so we are aware in future.
  • Robert reported that reports were running very slowly. Should be back with TopDesk- Service Management are investigating.
