Achievements in last period

  • Fixed issue with Test Access: load balancer fixed. Final user testing can now progress

Issues

  • PG Open Day application has now been tested and signed off by users. Remaining outstanding test is one jira related to the Tours. Delay caused by unavailability of staff in SRA. No further dev work expected (it has been tested ok by Dev Services in Test). Last task is to deploy post live fixes. 

Next Steps

  • Complete testing of Tours and close

Issues

  • Did not complete all user stories in the last 2 iterations. Looking to secure other IS Apps resources to complete Universe/Reporting task. 
  • Product owner/BA is leaving end June, contingency being worked on risk raised

Achievements in Last Period

  1. Systems Design document has progressed.
  2. SQL and Coldfusion have been upgraded to TEST and the customer has been provided access to carry out testing.
  3. WIS have approved the expanded scope and budget to include the work from the Radium project.

Issues

  1. There have been continuing technical issues with the upgrade of SQL and Coldfusion. These are ongoing and currently unidentified.
  2. The Systems Description Document (Phase 2)  has not been completed as the resource is being used to to resolve the deployment issues (Phase 1).

 Next Steps

  1. Submit an increase in budget to WIS to cover the deployment issues (this will be submitted 9th May)
  2. Complete the Systems Design Document and obtain sign-off
  3. Obtain sign-off for the  Database upgrade and Coldfusion update so this can be progressed into LIVE
  4. Start the build of Phase 2 in DEV

The red status is due to the ongoing technical issues which have impacted on the remaining milestones

  • Misunderstanding over extent of BOXI changes - universe changes to be tested before deployment
  • Problems for SCS staff getting into TEST BOXI
  • Milestones revised because of delays

STU240 - CARS Database Migration

Category : Compliance

Project has been withdrawn. It is now planned that the legacy Careers databases - SAGE, CCTS and Vacancy database - will be decommissioned , when the replacement system CareerHub goes live. As long as CareersHub is implemented into Live by Jan 2015, then it won't be necessary to do any further compliance maintenance to the CARS databases.
