Report by Sue Woodger for Aug 2021

Achievements in last period

  • Project approved by WIS to start 20 Aug 21
  • WIS asked that we contact Susan Cooke about Service Management engagement - completed on 2 Sep 21. Susan confirmed that anything related to either BI reporting or IDM should be Susan as the named person.
  • First cut of project brief created for discussion with Karen Howie

Issues

  • Resourcing: At this month’s Project Services meeting we were informed that that there is no devtech resource until end September and no dev resource until end of October. Head of Development Services was asked 2 Sep 21 when resourcing would be available for this project
  • Resourcing Service Management: There is no dedicated service manager so Team manager will manage the work and bring in others as required. Risk added re Service Management time

Next Steps

  • Project kick off meeting with Karen Howie
  • Project brief finalised and circulated to team members for approval
  • Project brief approved

RAG Commentary:  Project is AMBER.

Description: Project is Amber because there is no confidence in the project being resourced by Dev Services

Impact: There are no key dates for this project, but this work needs done as quickly as possible so we are GDPR compliant and we can reduce manual errors.

Plan: Head of Development Services has been asked to confirm the resourcing position of this project

RAG Commentary

Description: Project is Amber because there is no confidence in the project being resourced by Dev Services

Impact: Delays to the project results in data feed issues continuing for longer impacting Colleges, Schools and the DLAM team who need to run manual processes for longer in order to reduce the impact of the issues.

Plan: Head of Development Services has been asked to confirm the resourcing position of this project
