Report by Karen Stirling for December 2014

Achievements in Last Period

  • All 'must have' JIRAs have been resolved with the exception of 1, which is currently under review - no impact to first websites to be migrated to live
  • Automigration to staging completed for CAM, Modern Conflict, Chaplaincy, Labryinth and Printing
  • Process agreed with Tech Management for VARNISH Switches to be raised via UNIDESK calls, these will be completed by UWP
  • CAM and Modern Conflict have been migrated to Live for editorial changes and URLs switched on Live scheduled 6th January
  • Migration Tracker Wiki page created

Issues

  • URL switch highlighted issues with the correct website link for resource overview for CAM, other links have been completed correctly and now under new branding. However issue with Modern Conflict due to the fact  that it is a sub site which has been moved to the root of EdWeb without its parent website. Investigation under way with UWP on how to resolve as there are other MVP sites set up in a similar way.

Next Steps

  • Ongoing migration to staging, live and VARNISH URL switch until all MVP sites migrated expected 3rd Feb
  • Process Overview workshop scheduled to review MVP learning points this is scheduled for 16th January
