This project covers the functionality to support SITS to ensure that statutory reporting requirements are met, so as to enable funding for the University. It includes

This annual project covers developments and enhancements to IS developments which fully or partially support the 2014/5 HESA Student Return, 2014/5 SFC Early Statistics Return, 2014/5 SFC Final Figures, 2013/4 Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE), 2015/6 Key Information Set (KIS), Teaching Load and the National Student Survey.

This project will upgrade the SITS system to version 8.8.0 (from 8.7.0) so that the University remains within the maintenance agreement with the software supplier, Tribal, and new functionality in versions  v8.7.1 and v8.8.0 are made available.

Objectives

To provide a web-based / tablet “app” to digitise the history of the Anatomy Museum. Achieved  

Deliverables

An application for latest version of the iPad, iPad 3. An application that will work on iPAD 2 but with reduced richness. Achieved

 

Additional Deliverables / Additional Scope

 

 

This work is driven by the Anatomy Museum moving out of their historical home at Teviot Place. 

 

Once the Anatomy Museum has been relocated to the College of Surgeons, this will provide a virtual tour of the old location and hundreds of years of outstanding and important UoE history attached to the Medical College.

 

The target audience will be the general public and potential students to help promote the College and University.
