Project Summary:
Background
This project provided functionality within the corporate student record to receive and process applications for bursaries and make awards. The Student Fund Management module within SITS was implemented further to meet this goal.
It was originally hoped that the project would include functionality for scholarships and the Scotland Accommodation Bursaries and provide an automated interface to Finance but it was not possible to deliver these within the allocated budget.

The project will upgrade the core Polopoly CMS application software from 9.16.1 to a newer version that can work with version 11g of the Oracle database and is expected new enhancements to the upgraded version will allow opportunities to be explored.
It has been 18 months since the last Polopoly CMS application upgrade (Dec 11) and we need to keep the software version up to date to ensure it remains supported.

This project seeks to improve the external examiner processes for undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes, from nomination of the external examiner to analysis of the external reports which would be processed electronically. This project allows for an integrated approach to quality assurance and quality enhancement by facilitating effective qualitative and quantitative analysis of the external examiner reports.
This project has three key elements to be done over 2 years/2 projects:
