This project follows on from USG019 Development & Alumni CRM deployment which migrated the D&A CRM to the cloud, developed integrations and front-end interfaces. This project closed in March 2023 with some additional functionality items (Should) remaining to be added. Since then, a list of change requests and improvements has also been gathered by D&A. This project has been assigned a small amounts of funding this session to carry out as much of these items as possible.

This project will on-board the Business School and associated CRM data which resides on a standalone instance of Salesforce onto the University's IRM hosted on Salesforce. The current Salesforce licences for the Business School are due to expire in January 2024 . There is the requirement to align to the University's platform to support their communication and engagement activities.

Due to the sensitive personal health related data maintained on the system, there is the requirement to ensure that all mandatory updates relating to the security of the application and the infrastructure are applied through an annual upgrade. This upgrade is inline with the approach of having a yearly upgrade to ensure benefiting from the latest version of the eOPAS software. The version currently deployed is 6.9.1.1, and the upgrade will be to version 6.9.2.1

Vue v2 end of life is in Dec 23 when it will not be supported- It requires to be upgraded to Vue v3

This annual project will upgrade SITS software to the latest supported version 10.7 (was 10.5, completed in Apr 23).
Benefits:
- Student Record system remains within the standard support contract with SITS supplier Tribal,
- Student: required for performance of essential student administration functions,

- Access to new functionality in new version.

The University is procuring a Short Courses Platform (SCP). This platform will offer education for learners on not-for-credit short courses, including online, blended, and face-to-face delivery to promote lifelong learning.
This project covers the launch of the SCP with early adopters, starting with the roll-out of the virtual learning environment (VLE) in April 2024 with the SCP’s catalogue following in spring. The early adopters will consist of colleagues from the Centre of Open Learning (COL) whose courses need to be moved from Learn onto the SCP.
