Sustainable Printing - The Fleet Consolidation project will focus on the Universities Xerox estate.

The IT Committee approved the  recommendation on  the approach to sustainable printing - fleet consolidation on March 9th 2021.

The Project has initiated an evidence gathering phase that will ultimately make a recommendation to the sponsor. The scope enables a review of IS Helpline, Finance Helpline and to a lesser extent at this moment EdHelp and Library Heldesks. It will build upon the activities undertaken by a task force which formed in 2020 looking particularly at the IS Helpline. The project will engage externally via UCISA to assess the direction of travel of other Universities.

The CMVM IS Team are largely part of ISG, and this team provide a number of services in different campuses, which both supplement and extend the ISG Service Catalogue. This project is to understand the range and breadth of services in each campus area, and for Learning & Teaching across CMVM, and to identify how best to catalogue these in line with the ISG Service Catalogue. Ideally, this will result in updates to the ISG service catalogue to reflect the services provided by CMVM IS.

The aim of this project is to develop resources for supporting students as they transition to on-campus learning from hybrid modes. These cohorts may be new students who are joining the University from school where they experienced a mixture of classroom teaching, and online learning, plus a range of assessments which may not have included traditional exams.

This is an LTW internally run project to deliver an upgraded blogs.ed.ac.uk service, upgrading WordPress to the latest supported version of the application at the point of upgrade and also deliver some new plugins as well as updated user documentation, and revamped support website
