Series of joint acquisitions of performance works between UoE Art Collection and the National Galleries of Scotland. Project in evolution since 2015 (when current UoE Art Collection curator was in post at NGS) and funds were secured later in that year. Funding then travelled with the UoE Art Collection Curator when they took up their post in 2018. MOU developed with NGS to oversee acquisitions, and the first purchase is about to be completed 'Walk, Hands, Eyes (A City)' by Myriam Lefkowitz.

This is a project that was encouraged and an application went it in conjunction with our academic colleagues in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology. Project funding of £13,243 was awarded by the Leventis Foundation for the Conservation and Digitisation of the Typikon Neophytos, MS 224.

Strategic project to work with Race.ED, Uncover.ED, Communications and Marketing to explore the University's narratives, people and histories through the collections and to work with the Collectingin COVID initiative and Digital Preservation as to what the University's archive should and could include now and in the future. This will include student experiences and internships.

This project will work with the University community to preserve its experiences and work during the pandemic, and well as responses to life at this time as part of the University. It will feed into Digital Preservation of the University's Archives and develop projects with partners in web and social media archiving.

Public engagement additional award to 'Speaking Out', administered by ScotPEN on behalf of WT. Workshops and exhibition that may need to modified in light of Covid-19. To be run by the Project Archivist funded through the main grant. 

The project was originally timetabled to run from July - Dec 2021 but dates are being reviewed to enable tie-in with the main Speaking Out project, which has been delayed as a result of COVID.

This project is supported by an award of £7,000 from Wellcome Research Resources.

Catalogue (and promotion of) Lothian Gay and Lesbian Switchboard archives held by Lothian Health Services Archive within the Centre for Research Collections. Also includes selected digitisation and a public engagement/research enrichment component as a separate but related project (LUC036).

This project is funded by the Wellcome Trust Research Resources, with an award of £54,548.

The project was originally planned to run from May 2020 - April 2021 but has been temporarily postponed due to Covid. It is now likely to run from November 2021 to October 2022 (tbc).
