Adding Resiliency to Accommodation Services Web Applications

Accommodation services currently offer multiple web-facing services.  To enhance the resiliency of their web-tier the project ACS031 will migrate their current single physical webserver to a Virtual environment.  Virtualisation removes the risk of dependency on a single site and offers additional benefits in terms of vertical scaling (adding processing power upon demand) and horizontal scaling (where load is distributed across >1 nodes).
