The current AS system is supplied by the 3rd party Kinetic Solutions (http://www.kineticsolutions.co.uk/solutions/9/KxResidential/benefits/) and sits outside of the University central records system. As such the AS current setup has incomplete integration with the University data held on prospective students.
The AS system relies on a data feed from Euclid. An issue with the feed lies in the timing of its delivery to the AS system. AS are not getting the prospective student data at the earliest possible moment and this makes delivering a 1st class service more challenging for AS. Therefore this project will look to provide University application data to AS as and when it arrives.
The data feed from the Student System will also require analysis to ascertain that the most appropriate elements are transmitting between Student Systems and the Kx system.
Notice: This project has had a name change (subject to approval). It was previously 'Student Application System - Authenticated through MyEd' but this was misleading as there was no MyEd alterations within the project. The new name reflects the nature of the work.
