February 2021

Report Date
February 2021
  • SFC have confirmed our submission was acceptable and to proceed with the plan for continuation of existing courses and addition of new courses.
  • Two courses launched in February, “Developing a Data Driven Company” and “Understanding Planetary Health Data”. The number of enrolled students was below the demand anticipated and the marketing plan has been adjusted as a cause of this.
  • The marketing strategy will now focus on highlighting the programme as a whole rather than highlight individual courses as they are open for applications. The main benefits of the new approach will be the ability to highlight all the courses at once and the ability to generate applications earlier in the process.
  • Industry engagement continues to be a key element of the WFD programme however the pandemic is continuing to cause challenges in this area with many events no longer proceeding. The WFD programme will look at hosting their own event in the next few months.
  • A meeting between the course leads is being organised to streamline knowledge exchange, specifically highlight the support that Bayes will provide.
