Overview
The aim of this project is to focus in the common elements that should define Information Services’ communications holistically. In close collaboration with the rest of the Communication and Branding projects, the main objective will be to lead a common understanding of the group’s values and services to deliver a set of reusable tools and the processes to regularly review them. The aim is for Information Services to communicate as efficiently as possible.
Planning
- Lead collaboration between all Communications & Branding projects to:
- work together and agree on common areas e.g. audiences, stakeholders, outcomes
- regularly catch up to update on activities
- align objectives
- share data and information
- Organise workshops with relevant stakeholder groups
- Consult and survey user groups to get feedback regarding ISG exposure
Outcomes
- Common understanding of ISG Values
- Shared knowledge of ISG services, remit and activities
- Best understanding of how ISG communicates with its audiences
Outputs
- Mappings of audiences
- A series of representative statements
- Reusable presentation(s)
- Promotional video(s)
- Provide recommendations to maximise exposure of ISG
- within University campuses by making most of physical communication channels (screens, banners, information posts etc.)
- by using virtual communication channels (websites, ISG/University news, BITS, social media etc.)
- Processes to iteratively review and develop all of the above
- At least bi-annual
- Agree on measurable objectives/KPIs and make changes where needed
