Project to upgrade University Document Management System

A new project to upgrade one of the University’s Document Management Systems has just completed planning. The project will upgrade eIntranet to version 6 from version 5.4. As part of the project the system will also be moved onto the new database infrastructure offering more resilience and improved performance.

eIntranet is used mainly by Finance and Estates to store a wide range of documents. The system is integrated with eFinancials and EBIS to allow document retrieval from these systems. The upgrade will offer additional functionality  and will allow easier integration for other areas looking to join the service.
