The Main Library HUB (High Use Book) collections comprise short loan, Reserve and offprint collections to provide access to essential teaching content for students. Reserve collections are also in place at University of Edinburgh site libraries. 

Following the collation and detailed analysis of collections data under COLL001, the possibility of a full General Collections review to undertake de-duplication of all collections is being assessed. Main Library HUB and all Reserve collections will be considered as part of this project and the outcomes of COLL003 are expected to inform the de-duplication approach for these collections. In parallel with any de-duplication project, Main Library HUB and site library Reserve collections require further review to ensure collections are relevant, up-to-date and provide online access to content where possible
