The Hidden Collections project objective :

• To identify the extent and categories of collections that are currently undiscoverable due to being uncatalogued or having extremely low-quality metadata.  

It will cover Print General Collections and Rare Book Collections in the Main Library, UCF and site libraries.  

The key deliverable being the provision of a list of ‘hidden’ undiscoverable collections which will be created to inform future funding bids and collections management activity including cataloguing prioritisation and any potential for de-accessioning.
