Achievements in Last Period

Estates purchased a new Kodak i440 scanner which was put into production using the new version of Kofax without any issues. Estates Kodak i280 scanner was returned from repair on 04/09/12.

Issues

Throughout the project Serengeti have maintained that the ISIS drivers for Win7 64bit for the i280 are available. The project manager agreed that when the scanner was returned from repair the engineer would install working ISIS drivers when delivering the scanner. This did not happen and on 04/09/12 Serengeti apologised that there are in fact no working drivers for the Kodak i280. For estates this is no longer an issue but Finance have one i280 in production, which needs to be moved over to the new version of Kofax as part of the project.

Next Steps

Project Manager is awaiting information from Serengeti on supported OS. Project manager will meet with the business manager in Finance on 06/09/12 to discuss options, one of which may be to leave the second scanner as is.
