EVES and Events Booking upgraded to ColdFusion11

Two projects in the COM programme has been successfully upgraded from ColdFusion 9 to ColdFusion 11.  EVES is the University’s online voting system and Events Booking is the University’s tool for advertising internal training and development courses and for booking a course event. Both are now on a supported version of ColdFusion and maintenance patches will be released from Adobe until 2019 for ColdFusion 11.

Upgrading the version of ColdFusion will lead to an increase in performance, and more easily scalable applications due to the increases in functionality the upgrade to ColdFusion 11 gives developers.
