Achievements this Period

  • Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA) was approved.
  • The two project artefacts of a Service Definition Document and RACI matrix have been issued for stakeholder sign-off.
  • Sufficient detail was confirmed to enable a job description to be written for a new Service Manager role (the writing and recruitment however isn't part of the project scope).

Issues

  • Departure of the Business Analyst meant that some of the outstanding administrative detail had to be passed to the Project Manager to conclude.
  • An extension to the project dates has been agreed by project members to allow for the recommendations to be shared with the IRM Steering Group.
  • Project overspend and a slight delay to closure has been encountered this month due to the two issues mentioned above.

Next Steps

  • Seek approval from the IRM Steering Group
  • Complete the project closure report.

A project overspend this month now requires a change record to be raised to bring the budget back into governance. A similar action is to be taken to extend the project closure date by a couple of weeks, this latter action is to ensure sign-off is received from all project team members.
