To support the provision of safe study spaces within UoE managed study areas dueing the Covid-19 outbreak, a short life study spaces working group was formed by the Estates & Digital Infrastructure Adaptation and Renewal Team to provide recommendations and plans on Study Space provision for the start of Term 2020. The Study Space Provision project (ISG019) was set up to ensure the work to open study spaces at the start of term 2020 could be planned and managed effectively as the work is being completed in an extremely short timescale.

This Study Space Systems project (DAT301) is a sub project of the Study Space Provision project (ISG019) and will develop and launch a mechanism to manage study space occupancy and bookings in centrally managed study spaces.

This will consist of a back end for storing and processing study space info, including study space bookings, along with an app for Android and Apple devices for finding and booking study spaces.  There will also be a browser based version of the app for those that do not have or wish to use the Android and Apple device based app.
