Project Summary

The project delivered a new Service that offers large scale virtual synchronous teaching : over 200 students can access their own virtual device in the same lecture theatre and at home, for example.

Benefits have been delivered but limited to a very few courses.

Although the service was designeds, built, tested and delivered to meet a business requirement, the take-up of the service has been extremely limited. 

The project did check that the business need was still there but it was decided it was best to deliver the service and re-asses the situation in 2025.
