This project (DTI024) will deliver additional Student Record APIs or extend the collection of methods on the initial release of the Student Record API (delivered by DTI015) in order to support delivery of the DTI011 and SAS002 projects by exposing data required by these projects:

1. DTI011 - User Centred Portal Technological Pilot, part of the User Centred Portal (UCP) programme within Digital Transformation
2. SAS002 - Student Centred Portal Pilot, part of the Service Excellence, Student Administration and Support programme

DTI015 delivered the initial release of the Student Record API, with read, write and validation functionality.  The initial release of the API interacts with Stutalk which provides external access to student records within the Tribal SITS system. DTI015 delivered a set of tools which allow us to interact with the Student Record - the completion is a significant development in our ability to exploit student data.

This project will additionally deploy the API delivered by DTI015 to the live environment.

Expected Benefits:

1. Support for the delivery of DTI011 and SAS002 projects by providing secure access to student records using a reusable API
2. Support for future applications across the University which require secure access to student records (subject to data steward approval)
