Peer-to-peer tools provide a digital platform through which prospective students can engage with student ambassadors, facilitating messaging from a credible and authentic voice, personalised and highly relevant interactions and important role-modelling activity.

Analysis undertaken within SEP identified that the market-leader within this space, Unibuddy, offers the solution which best aligns with the University’s requirements. Its unique partnership with UCAS provides subscribers with presence on UCAS.com, and provides justification for a non-competitive procurement.  A successful pilot of Unibuddy has been running in the Business School from November 2019.

Acknowledging its capability to contribute significantly to our recruitment efforts within Mitigation, Adaptation and Renewal the launch of a Unibuddy service for the University as a whole has gained senior leadership support.

This project takes forward the Unibuddy implementation project within ART.
