Report for March 2018
- Report Date
- March 2018
The build of the VSAN solution to replace the Atlantis is now complete.
The project plan has been updated and the scheduled dates for completion of build, testing and delivery of the new service, agreed as realistic and attainable by the project team. The project manager has sent an update to the project board early January, to include the new payment schedule and UAT dates.
Good progress in that two long standing technical showstoppers have been fixed.
However, the combination of strikes, change freeze and the weather has meant the cancellation or key meetings and activities, which now have to be rescheduled and resourced. Outcome is not known so we hope to reduce delay but project Amber until new dates are set.

Project Status AMBER as the Remedial work planned for 6th March was moved to end of March but due to Change Freeze not completed. AMBER as we have a good understanding with colleges on Test approach but will need more time to prepare tests. AMBER also as we do not have an agreed approach between Supplier Softcat and ITI - PM needs to mediate discussion early April. So a risk to Risk to delivery by end of July from these issues.
