Mobile device security is becoming more important to organisations. Devices where staff can connect with secure university systems need to be managed in such a way where basic security, such as pin-lock protection, is implemented to protect devices from unauthorised access. Additional features such as configuration of corporate mail clients, VPNs and provision of basic productivity applications are also desirable to be set centrally (under strict quality control) rather than individually.
