Achievements in Last Period
- SDX - Windows 10 Wipe and Load (Compliance hardware) task sequence tested and signed off by Programme Board
- Communications issued out to migration coordinators SDX - Windows 10 Wipe and Load using USB media now available
- In Place Upgrade - Alpha Release available from 11th March to commence testing by COs expected feedback by 29/03/19 to inform next release
- Training Room Build sign off by LST and Digital Skills and migration dates agreed for AH training rooms EW09 and EW13
- Risk review completed with Project Sponsor and Service Owner
Issues and Risks
Issues :
- Resource for project team remains a key issue
- Support Matrix has been developed along with SDX (with the view that an additional 2 FTE resource would be in place within DST team) this remains an issue for both service and project delivery
- ISFM Departmental managed labs - remaining devices have been escalated with College IT and COs from schools. Those remaining on W7 are documented.
- Operations level agreement not signed off as USD require analyst work completed around resource required within IS Helpline to support proactive monitoring
- Communication regarding programme delayed due to no project resource available - next update expected in April
- Numbers of devices tested using In Place Upgrade - Alpha release only 49 completed - this needs to be increased and have requested support from College IT reps to raise profile and necessity of testing
- Unidesk call raised for Direct Access - possible impact on Web Search and Discovered, some testing required to assess if issue is with 3rd party supplier or Direct Access
